E Courtesy Remittance

With SPDB-initiated e courtesy remittance, you only need to know Email address of the remittee to remit and send e-card with your best wishes rather than memorize remittee’s account No.

1. How to Remit?

“E courtesy remittance” is very easy as you only need to fill out the remittance information as per the webpage instructions. Each e courtesy remittance has a one-time dynamic password, which will be sent to the remittee with the remittance notice email. In addition, you can also set a withdrawal password (optional) for the remittance. If you provide mobile phone No. of the remittee, our bank will inform the remittee of the password via SMS, or you can notify the remittee by yourself. It should be noted that you have to correctly fill out Email address/mobile phone No. and name of the remittee, otherwise the remittee can not receive the remittance. If the remittee has not received the e courtesy remittance notice letter, you can use “Remittance check/re-send” function to send e courtesy remittance notice mail again. The remitter will not be charged for re-sending.

2. How to Receive Remittance?

After you remit, SPDB will send the remittance information to the remittee via email (subject: “SPDB e courtesy remittance notice”) or SMS. The remittee can use any of the following methods to receive the remittance:

1)Online receipt

If the remittee holds a SPDB Oriental Card or savings passbook and has not opened online banking yet, he/she may click remittee address in the mail (http://ebank.spdb.com.cn/Email.html), input the remittance information and transfer the remittance into his/her own account; if the remittee has opened online banking, he/she may log on the online banking interface and click “Remittance” - “e courtesy remittance” - “Accept/decline” to receive.

2)Counter cash withdrawal

If the remittee has not any card or savings passbook at SPDB, he/she, after receiving Email remittance notice mail, may record or print the notice mail information (remittee email address, remittance number and dynamic password etc.) and hold one’s own ID certificate to withdraw at any SPDB network.

3)Automatic transfer

If the remittee has set automatic transfer relationship (click “Remittance”-“Email remittance”-“Automatic transfer relationship” to set the corresponding relationship between Email address and the remittee card/savings passbook), the remittance will be remitted to the remittance card/savings passbook corresponding to the remittee’s Email address in real time.

If the remittee has not received within one month since the date of remittance, the remittance will be automatically returned to the paying account of the remitter.

3. Is It Safe?

The remittee must provide correct remittance number, Email address, remittance dynamic password and withdrawal password (reserved by the remitter) no matter for online receipt or counter receipt, and the name of the receiving card or savings passbook must be the same as the name of the remittee filled out by the remitter. In case of counter receipt and cash withdrawal, the name on the valid ID certificate presented by the remittee must be the same as the name of the remittee filled out by the remitter. Therefore, e courtesy remittance is very safe.

4. Charge

There is no charge for e-card and remittance for the moment.
